Hi,

In Excel 2000, I am using an Input box for the users to enter some data.
However, my cell also has data validation on it. However when i enter data
via the input box, the data validation doesn't seem to work - is this right,
and is there a way round this?

Yes, That's the way it works.

The workaround would be building similar data validation rules into a
macro which controls the input box.
