And what would you like the unpaid volunteers here to do for you? Design the
application? Do your homework?

If you describe WHAT you want to do (in computer detail), and HOW you've tried
to do it, and what problems you're having - we'll try to help. But it sounds
like you've just posted your assignment. We won't help with that.

I didn't know trying to get help was such an inconvenience and for your
information this is also for an unpaid project I am doing. I was wondering
1st if this is possible?? if not I will be purchasing a program from another
company. More specifically I have an inventory database on Excel I want to
design an Invoice on Word or Publisher which there is a template for and use
the fields on the invoice to correspond or update the fields in Excel I can
figure it out if it is possible??? Thank you for your time please don't
respond if you are going to be a jerk!

Sorry, Princess. It certainly read like a class assignment from your first
post.

This certainly can be done in Access (and almost certainly in Excel); in fact
there are a variety of ways you could do it. If you're working in Excel you
may do better to post the question in an Excel newsgroup (this one is for
Access), but yes, you can use File... Get External Data... Link in Access to
connect to a sheet in an Excel workbook; you can base an Access Report on this
linked table, or a query selecting just one invoice. There's an invoice report
in the Access Northwind sample database.

You can leave Access out of the loop and go directly from Excel (using VBA
Macros) to Word or Publisher, but I don't know how to do that; you'll bet
better results in an Excel newsgroup.

Thank you, that is all I needed.
