database connection subweb issue

Using FP2002, New to database connections, but using the
DRW successfully, now.

I want to access the database connections from subwebs.

The TOOLS, WEB SETTINGS, DATABASE tab allows me to setup
such a connection using the URL of
http://www.myrootweb.com/fpdb/exampledb.mdb. This also
verifies when asked.

The DRW, however, refuses the connection.

Desperately appreciative of any help.

You may not cross web boundaries in the DRW.
