We've recently been encountering major problems with Microsoft Access
databases that are loaded into FrontPage websites. This has happened about 5
times on one database and a couple of times on some others.
We try to open the database and we get the message "The database needs
repaired or isn't a database file. Do you want Access to try to repair the
database?" If we say yes, we get the error message "Unrecognized database
format." Repeat: when we try to repair the database, it says "Unrecognized
database format" ... we cannot repair nor import tables from the database.
Being the smart person I thought I was, I made back-ups of the database. But
all the backups are giving me the same error messages.
Ideas?
