I have a database that works on my XP machine with Access 2007. When I place
the database on a server running 2003. When you open the database a message
appears Action failed error number 2950. When I enable the Macros (or add the
location of the DB to trusted sites) the DB crashes and ask if it should
repair. Even if I let access repair the database the same thing happens. I
have tried the database in both .mdb and accdb formats.
I have also had the same problem after disabling the virus scanning.
Any ideas or tools to monitor to see what is happening.
Event viewer displays the following:
Faulting application msaccess.exe, version 12.0.4518.1014, stamp 4542815c,
faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.3959, stamp 45d70ad8, debug? 0,
fault address 0x0002c855.
