Database Daemon Fatal Error

Woah! I just downgraded back to Office 2004 successfully. There were
too many problems with Entourage 2008:
1. I had about 50 rules from Entourage 2004. They didn't work until I
edited them an saved them again.
2. Every time when I opened Entourage and my scheduled "send and
receive all" (with about 20 email accounts) reached my default email
address in the progress window, it gave a "Database Daemon Fatal
Error" and I had to quit. I deleted my default email account and
created it new. That didn't do it...
3. My emails arrived without attachments at the recipients. That was
the pioint when I switched back to 2004. Fortunately I didn't delete
my MS Office 2004 Folder and so it was no problem to go back ( I keep
always weekly backups of my wife's and my own identities Folders).

Besides all this trouble I didn't see any improvements since Office
2004. And Word is much slower. So please Microsoft give me my money
back, not to mention my painful beta tester days...

Thinking about switching to Apple's mail program, if I could only
import accounts, messages and all rules from Entourage. Has anyone a
suggestion how to do that?
