Database Editor

I used the database interface wizard in FrontPage 2002 to connect to an
existing Access 2002 database. But even trying to browse to the page on the
local host web server returns the http 403 error, "the website declined to
show this webpage".
I do not have a password set in the database which resides in the fpdb
folder on the web server. I have checked user permissions both in Windows and
IIS and allowed read/write/execute on the directory. What else am I missing ?

Explain
What are you trying to open
A page accessing the DB data?,
- or the DB itself?
(export it from the site and open it in Access)

I'm trying to open the page accessing the db data - database_editor.asp - the
page that the wizard created.

On your hosted server or under localhost on your PC
- won't work in a disc based web

It was on a hosted web. I finally gave up on trying to do this with Frontpage
and Access. I imported my Access db to SQL and am using Visual Web Developer
successfully instead. Thanks.
