I made a database using the 120 movies my two daughters have. Each daughter
ranked each movie from 1 to 120. In one column header we had the daughters
name and below it how she ranked the movie, the next colum header was the
other daughters name and how she ranked it. A third column produced a number
that was the average of their rank. Obviously we could sort by column to see
each daughters 1-120 etc. The question here is if we buy a new movie or get a
gift and the girls rank it is there a formula or value then that can be
entered to change the rank (a +1) for every movie that is listed below it.
i.e. If she ranks a new movie number 60 is there a way to set up the dbase
so that every movie below that moves down a number?
