Database Error 0x80040E14

When accepting updates from team members and resaving the project the project
manager got the above error message from the project spooler. The server
event log message was not helpful - any ideas as to what could be causing the
problem?

Martin:

This error typically indicates duplicate assignment records in the database.
If you haven't applied Service Pack 1, you should apply it to correct this
problem. The easiest way to recover your plan with the duplicates is to save
it as an mpp file, delete it from the server, and reimport it using the
Import Wizard. After you reimport the plan, you need to republish all task
assignments selecting overwrite actual work in republish dialog. If you're
using managed time periods, you'll need to disable this feature temporarily
to accomplish the republish with the overwrite. You should also be aware
that this will likely impact the actual work record for the project in the
web work tables.

Thanks Gary - The fix seemed to go cleanly enough but we got a SYSTEM ERROR
0x80004005 when we tried to republish the assignments.

Thanks Gary - I have had a look at the permissions to the View Drop folder
and tweaked the "Everyone" group which seems to have solved the problem.
