Database Error on Open

I have a db that is used by 4 people shared on a LAN. Everything was
working fine until just a few minutes ago when all the sudden everyone was
kicked out and the DB wont open any longer.

Get the error "The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the
object'MSysDb'. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and
the path name correctly."

I have tried to compact/repair but get the same error.

Does anybody have any thoughts on a fix for this error?
