Database gets corrupted

Hi !

I am using VB as front-end and using Access 2000 as
backend. At some stage, don't know due to what problem,
the database gets corrupted. Next when i run the program,
it gives some error like "Invalid Database format, or
database got corrupted" (Some kind of error, not exact).
Please tell me the reason due to which this problem raise
and any solution to fix the problem.
