Urgent Help/Info Needed

We have a database that stores and links thru odbc objects contains many
queries and reports and a few forms , this database is about 285 MB in size,
Lately within the past week , we have had the database get corrutped , it
seems to go into a loop in memory , When we try to open it just open MS
Access and does nothing. the only thing we noticed is that a user had to kill
it using CTRL-ALT Delete, this seem to cause the issue but why???? This is
killing it completey , Has anyone had this problem in 2000

Cip,

We use to have corruption problems constantly. The way we resolved the
problem was changing a registry entry on our Windows file server. It’s
called the Op Locks problems (or optimistic locking). It must be turned off.
If you have windows based file server may want to look into that. Try going
to the Microsoft website and search for Op Locks.

Regards,
Leif
