database model diagram

I created a new diagram instead of a new database model diagram. Is there a
way to convert my diagram and all of the entities to a database model diagram
so that I can edit the database properties instead of recreating all of the
entities ?

As far as I know, the answer is 'no'.
I am looking for an easy solution also.

Perhaps you can substitute the shape of your diagram to the right shape of
the database solutions in exporting the file to XML, change the name of the
master in the XML file and reopen the XML file.

Be aware that the master must exist in the document stencil.
