Database Rebuild Issue

I have a user who attempted to perform a rebuild of their database but ran out of disk space at some point during the process. He has 3 laptops and did the rebuild on all 3 in the course of 1 night. This morning when I went in to check, his entire Inbox had been duplicated and some other users, who use Outlook 2007 on Exchange server, had all their calendar items duplicated. Has anyone heard of this?

When an Exchange Identity is corrupted, it's best to just start with a new
Identity. Stuff like you are describing can happen when you rebuild.

Users that have huge inboxes, see this before creating a new Identity.
