Database Shapes - Entity Relationship (US units) - Can't anchor Relationship shape on Entity shape

I reversed engineered a new Entity Diagram from an Oracle 9i Database in
Vision 2003 Pro. Starting out I could freely anchor Relationships from one
Entity to another assuming the proper relationships existed, but after a
while I was unable to anchor the Relationship shape to an Entity shape(i.e..
the Entity was not outlining itself in red). It simply stopped working.
Has anyone encountered this problem or is there a way to manually configure
a Relationship Shape?

Yeah - this is a pain in the rear.

It's an interactive design issue, as in poor design.

Basically, you have to do this:

Tools Menu ...
Snap & Glue ...
Check Under "Currently Active" that both "Snap" and "Glue" are checked.
Check Under "Glue to" that "Connection Points" is turned on.

That'll do it.

Now, what a PAIN IN THE rear.

The connections are very fragile, and can break easily if you try to move
the relationship arrow with the arrow keys on the keyboard (without
protection). Another pain in the arse.
