database with hyperlinks

I have created a database workbook and a front page to
search that workbook. When I use the VLOOKUP function it
does not post the hyperlink that goes along with the
information in the database, the words are there just not
the hyperlink that is attached to it. Is there a way to
move a hyperlink from my database to the front page?
