Dataease to Access

Can anybody please advise me as to how I can transfer a Dataease
database to Microsoft Access 2000?

I read that you can change the Dataease format to Lotus 123, which
Access will be able to import, but I'm afraid that I'm a bit fuzzy on
this transformation.

If anyone can give me an idiots guide, step by step, I would very much
appreciate it.

Thank you

Thanks Peter,

My new problem, is that the Dataease seems to be a Front End - if
thats possible! I can't get into the workings of it i.e. with Access,
if you hold shift while opening a Database, you can gain access to the
tables etc. I can't get through to create a DQL report.

Anymore ideas please??

Thanks

I only have to log into DataEase once, there are login procedures
prior to this, but this is due to MS Windows 4.3!

I said that the DataEase is a 4.53, but when I just turned it on it
said 'DataEase Runtime 4.53' - is that the same thing or have I missed
the plot?

Thanks

We have inherited this system along with it's workload, so any trace
of it's history has probably gone with the wind due staff turn over!!

Thanks for your help Peter, I have registered with that link, so I'll
try them for some assistance.

Regards

Trish

PS - If there turns out to be a logical explanation, I shall post it
here, I'm sure that I won't be the only person suffering the DataEase
transfer to Access syndrome!!
