Datamodel Diagram

Hello, I am a novice user of Visio and I have Visio 2003 Professional. My
problem/question is:

I want to reverse engineer an existing database with numerous tables. I
have two problems. First, eventhough I set the page orientation to landscape
prior to performing the reverse engineer, the resultant datamodel diagram is
created in portrait mode. Second, I have numerous tables in the database
that I am reverse engineering and all shapes are added to a single page in
Visio. Is there a way to keep the page orientation at landscape? And, is
there a way to have the datamodel diagram spread over as many pages as
necessary instead of on a single page?

Thanks in advance!

for the first question check to see in file => page setup if the page is set
to the same as the printer. Regarding the second question, that's just the
way it works. however you can modify the diagram whatever way you want when
it completes.

Hi Al, I followed your suggestion for the page setup but it did not make any
difference. Visio still generated the diagram in portrait mode.

then it's probably in the application automation as part of it's
initialization.
