DataSheet View error after loading MSProject Pro 2007 on a Office

Enviorment: MSPS2K7 and PWA 2007 on a 2003 server
PC's are Office 2003
Issue: PC can connect to PWA and create a datasheet viiew in the project's
workspace however, after loading MSProject Pro 2007 unto the PC, an error
appears when trying t o access the data sheet view. The data sheet returns
an error:
"The list cannot be displayed in Datasheet view for one or more of the
following reasons: A datasheet component compatible with Windows SharePoint
Services is not installed, your browser does not support ActiveX controls, or
support for ActiveX controls is disabled."

The PWA clients settings for downloading ActiveX controls are enabled. I do
not thik this is the issus.

If I uninstall MSProject 2007 Pro, and re-install without the shared
component section, the datasheet works but I can not edit security or add
members to a project. I get an error on page error at the bottom left corner.

Does anyone have a solution or any ideas?

Two steps fixed all of our internal browser issues related to SharePoint
after installing Project 2007 Pro.

First, go to add and remove programs, find MS Project 2007, select change,
select repair and reboot.

Second, open an MS Office 2003 application and from the help menu select
detect and repair.

The first fix corrects and issue with the browser bombing when trying to
open documents from SharePoint. The second fix corrects the datasheet view
problem.
