Date counting again

G

GORDON

Iam really stumped on this one. I was trying to use the tip countin
dates with the formula bein
• =SUM((MONTH(MTA!$F$16:$F$100)=MTA!$A$2)*(YEAR(MTA!$F$16:$F$100)=MTA!$B$6)*1)
What I need is to add something to it so it also checks to see if th
adjoining column has an "E" in it. Can't figure the right syntax t
use. I thank anyone who can point me in the right direction

Hi

You'll need another set of bracketed criterira. Try this:
=SUMPRODUCT((MONTH(MTA!$F$16:$F$100)=MTA!$A$2)*(YEAR(MTA!$F$16:$F$100)=MTA!$
B$6)*(G16:G100="E")*1)
presuming the range to check for E is G16:G100.
This does not need to be array-entered.
