It's my guess that this is probably a "system settings" rather like if you
need to change Inches to cm's.
On a windows PC it's in something called the Contrl Panel, then click on
"regional settings"
I imagine the mac has a similar setting somewhere.

Oh, if only that were true! I'm sure that there are users who are unaware
of the Regional settings (Windows) and International settings (Mac), but my
international settings have long been set on a format that is appropriate
for the UK. I have been able to change the format in a presentation on a
Windows 2000 machine by changing the Tools/Language... to English(UK) - and
making that the default for all other presentations, but trying to do that
with a copy of the same presentation on my Mac makes no difference. The
fault definitely lies within PowerPoint, I'm afraid, and it could be one of
those anomalies not picked up by the Ms Mac Unit.
Anybody any other ideas?
