DATE FORMAT

Hi,

i got a cell that i want only the DAY to be shown in, like today its 9 of
october.
and i want to use this as a number ( 9 ) in equations.

when im trying here, it doesn't count it as a number so it gives ZERO all
time.

Help. Thanks.

i did that. but still it takes it as zero.. no other way ?

But just changing the format (Niek's suggestion showed (9) for me for today's
date) won't help you in your other calculations. The value of the cell is still
the date.

if you want to just use the day in another formula:

=day(a1)*182

would be one way.

without mult. by 182. it was enough, thanks again.
