Date/Hour Sum Query

I have a list of dates and times (one field) that I want
to sum by the hour and by the day in two different
queries. Can someone give me an example of the
expressions or queries?

Thanks for your help.

I have over 4000 records collected over a two week period
that I want to group together so I can create a chart. I
want to sum the data by hour and by day. Here is an
example of my data:

So, what do you envision 'Summing by Hour' to be?

A count of the records received during the hour, or the Sum of the time for
each day? Is 22:18 22 minutes, 18 seconds, or 10:18pm?

You need to be VERY specific from here on.
