For a pop up calendar I like to use the Microsoft Date Time Picker. You can
find it on the Control toolbox by clicking the Hammer and Wrench icon. It
gives you what appears to be a standard drop down list box except that the
drop down is a calendar. If you righ click on the control and select
preperties you can set the linked cell to get the date into a cell on your
spreadsheet.
