i have a date appearing in excel as 1000203 and I need it converted to
03/02/2000, any help would be good. Thanks.

Hard to tell you what to do without knowing what your numbers represent. As
written, they are ambiguous.

For example, the output, depending on your format, could be

03 Feb 2000

or

02 Mar 2000
