Date() not recognized in some installations of Access

Bright_Anarchy

I am running a database on a network. It works properly
only on the computer the database was designed on. On
other computers all of the queries and reports generate
errors whenever the date() function is used.
Format([somedate], "mmm yyyy") ect... causes the same
problem.

The versions of Access 2000 (SR-1a) appear identical!

How can I correct this.

Interestingly enough Now() works.

I don't know how to sort by Months of a year without using
the Format() feature.

This appears to be the very common References bug. Open any
module in design view, or open the VBA editor by typing
Ctrl-G. Select Tools... References from the menu. One of the
..DLL files required by Access will probably be marked
MISSING. Uncheck it, recheck it, close and open Access.

If none are MISSING, check any reference; close and open
Access; then uncheck it again. This will force Access to
relink the libraries.

Use Month([datefield]) - returns an integer 1 to 12.
