Date Picker ActiveX

I have created a data access page in MS Access 2003 utilizing the MS Date &
Time Picker ActiveX control. I then imported the page into a Front Page 2003
web. The controls work fine as far as inserting the date, but they are stuck
on the page creation date by default. In Access, I didn't have to do anything
for the control to reflect the current date by default. This is the same
behavior I want on the FP page.

Does anyone have experience with this and can point me in the right direction?
