Date problem\Auto Filter

Hi All,

Little problem i have a spreadsheet where the date 30/04/2004 was ente
using Ctrl+; when i go to the auto filter to filter for this date i
does not appear. i have tried hitting the delete key twice and manuall
entering the date but not joy.

Today i enter the date 30/04/2004 and it appeared in the autofilter bu
only filter that one entry. When i use the autofilter to filter for th
29/04/2004 it filters this date but also the days 30/04/2004 (apar
from the one i entered today)

Can any explain why

Hi,
I have seen dates in an autofilter show up as the serial number of th
date. For 4/30/04, that would be 38,107. Do you have that number i
your filter list?

nope. I may try removing the autofilter and then re-applying.

yep thaking the auto filter of and then placing it back on worked.

Just one of those evil microsoft bugs i persume :-
