Date problem in appointments

M

Mark McCarthy

have the calendar in the 31 day view, I click on the future date and when
the new appointment window comes up it has the day and date for today.

I tried your suggestion with the date navigator and it didn't work.

I'm using MS Outlook 2000 SP-3 (9.0.0.6627).

How are you doing this:
When I try to set an appointment for a future date it makes the
appointment

If you use the 1 Day view and double click on a time and date, do you still
get today's date?

Also - when you open an appointment you can type any date in. If you know
the date type it as 12/23 and outlook will correct it - or type words and
shortcuts: next week, 3d, 3w, next month, valentines day all work. Use 1.30
or 2p for times - outlook will convert the period to a colon and usually
gets the am/pm right without telling it a or p.
