If I have a worksheet that had a beginning date column and
an ending date column. Is there a way to calculate (using
a formula) how many actual work days that is involved
minus week-end and holiday dates or do you have to know
some programming?

Hi Pam
have a look at the NETWORKDAYS function. It will do exactly what you
want (for more info see the Excel helpfile)

Pam,

The NETWORKDAYS does this

=NETWORKDAYS(A1,A2, B1:B10)

B1:B10 would be the list of holiday dates.

This is part of the Analysis Toolpak, so make sure it is installed.
