Date stamp in footer??

How do insert a date stamp on Visio 2003?

Very easily.

Menu, View , Header Footer, Section Footer, Any of the drop right side
listboxes , Current day.
You have even the choice between long and short format.

I presume you didn't look ik the Print Preview. There you can find it. Not
in the drawing page.

BUT - what if you want the "last saved" date option which is available in
Word etc? Have not been able to find anything on coding for this.

In Visio, Headers & Footers were added to address a specific problem and are
limited. The "Visio Way" is to use a background page. Choose "Field..." from
the Insert menu and select the Date/Time Category. Then choose "Last Edit
Date/Time"
