Date Stamp won't go away

I've tried everything. Master Slide, footer, unlicked everything, but the
date stamp won't go away. Please help.

I'm running windows xp and powerpoint 2007.

What version of PowerPoint and Windows do you have, including Service Pack
version?

You have different masters. You have a Slide Master, Handout Master, Notes
Master & Notes Page master. Make sure you check all of them and remove the
date stamp from all.

I'm still unable to get rid of the date stamp. I went into Slide Master,
Handout Master and Notes Master and Notes page.
