Date/time sent rather than date/time of meeting

I have a calendar that is displaying the date/time a
meeting request is sent to me rather than the actual
date/time of the meeting.

So, for example if an meeting request is sent to me on
01/01/03 at 2:00 for a meeting to be held 01/15/03 at
1:00, when I accept, it shows in the calendar at 01/01/03
at 2:00.
