Date/Time wrong?

Hi,

What could make a message in Outlook display the wrong Date/Time in the
Inbox list pane?

There's a message that says it came it on Jan. 19, but all of the
headers say it was sent/received Jan. 25.

Interestingly, this message contains a forwarded message dated Jan. 19
but that couldn't possibly affect the Outlook display, could it?

We're trying to determine if e-mail is being received late, and why, or
if there's a local problem.

What version of Outlook do you have? What sort of account is accessing
this message - POP3, IMAP, Exchange? You mention a forward of a Jan 19
message - was the message you received a forward, or did it contain the Jan
19 message as an attachment?

Outlook 2003, POP3, and the Jan. 19 message was forwarded not as an
attachment but inline.

Does the inline version of the message contain the Internet headers of that
message? Also, what sort of account is being used to receive this message?
