wanted to say "Thanks" again.
looking at the workbook, it showed the jobnumbers as 81404, but when i
pulled them into the form, they showed as 081404.
changing the txtjobnumber to date didn't work i think because th
jobnumber was actual date plus a number.
your last post mentioned "clng(txtjobnumber.value)", which I had n
idea what clng meant.
after reading MS help on it, I got what it meant and changed th
txtjobnumber to clng as soon as it was created and that did the trick
I have spent hours trying to figure it out. would have never gotten o
my own.
