How can I have the names of the days of the week in my calender headings. I
recall doing something to make this happen at my office - but I have now
retired and want to configure my home PC in a similar manner.

Make sure your long date format includes the day name token (dddd) here in
Windows XP: Control Panel > Regional Settings applet. It should be something
like this: dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy
