DB Connection - Access Denied!

I also had this problem on my new Win7 Pro box with SQL 2008 and InfoPath 2007. While in design mode of the form, go into the menu selection Tools/Form Options, selecting the Security and Trust category, deselecting the Automatically determine security level, change the radial button to Full Trust and click OK.

The form now can make an ADO connection to the database defined in the data sources. No more Access Denied when attempting to Open, Submit, or Query data!!

I am having a similar issue as one you posted several months back (I hope your project worked out). I set up an access database on a laptop at home and am trying to get infopath to access it. I can see the fields, but am getting "Access is Denied".

Did you learn how to fix this?

Access is denied, but Windows User has rights to DB
Hi

I have built and InfoPath 2007 form and supporting (.NET 2.0) web service,
which both work fine on my development machine. However, I am integration
testing the solution on a Windows 2003 Virtual PC Image

When I host the form on the VPC image, I cannot get InfoPath to connect to
*anything* (not even directly to a SQL Server table). I keep getting "The
query cannot be run for the following DataObject: Main connection. InfoPath
cannot run the specified query. InfoPath cannot connect to the data source.
Access is denied. Access is denied.

I am running as the Admininstrator of the machine, I have DBO rights to the
database, and I can connect to the database using my web service and/or
Excel. In fact, InfoPath is able to connect to the database for the purpose
of generating the form schema (and the TEST SQL button works), but it just
can't get any data

This is holding up my entire project (due to be installed at 8.00am THIS
Sunday!)

Hope someone is out there

Best Regards
