DB Locking Issue

Ray

My database is store on a server that went down temporary and now when i try
to open my database i got a message about a serious error occurring and would
i like to continue to open it. I click Yes and i get an error report log. I
went into the Help menu and enabled the database and a attempted to repair it
but it does not help. I tried exporting info into a new database, using
Excel to read the data, opening the DB from the ODBC.. nothing. Can anyone
think of anohter way to get into this database or at least retireve the
information and store it in a new database. I have a back up db that for some
reason has not backed anything up since May so i really need to get back into
this other db. Please HELP!!! One more thing... when ever i attempt to
repair it leaves the record locking
file open even after i've closed the DB totally. I have to manually delete
the record locking file.

Thanks,
Ray
