DB relationships

I created a database with about 8 tables and some relationships. Now when I
look at the relationship map, the tables doe not appear to have any
relationships. So I try to change the field size of a field but access
tells me it is used in a relationship. It is not on the relationship map and
it does not have a lookup clause. Access also will not let me delete the
field so I can recreate it.

Are there phantom relationships in Access and if so how do I find them? I
am rather new to Access.

That is exactly what I did. I was able to see the relationships earlier
last week and then they disappeared -- they may have disappeared when I was
also adding lookup clauses on some of the fields from the table design screen
--- would adding lookup clauses cause my other relations to disappear?
