DBR Parameter in Page Title

M

MaureenKLM

I have a FP 2002 web with an Access DB -

I have hyperlinks that pass parameters to a DBR page and generate dynamic
pages. This is working great (Love this stuff!). I would like to use the
Parameters in a TITLE for the page - use the info OUTSIDE of the DBR Region.
The parameter fields are included in the output but I don't want to see that
info over and over again.

How can I get this info outside of the DBR region?

If you are passing a parameter to a page as say ?page="ABC"
You can use the parameter in the page title tag by adding above the <head> tag:
<% strTopic = Replace(Request.QueryString("page"), "'", "''") %>
And in the head section add
<title>Page: <%=strTopic%></title>

Will display the page title as:
Page: ABC
