Deactivated resources

David

On the Portfolio Analyser while taking a report for a particular month it
shows all resources even the deactivated resources with work as 0hrs. How to
remove the deactivated resources from this list. Any ideas?

Regards,

David.

In Manage Views, click on the view you want to modiy. Go to the offending
variable and click the "down arrow" and you will see your choices. Unclick
the ones you don't want.

Note, if you picked the information at a low level, you won't get the "down
arrow" choices, in which case you need to get the data at a higher level.
It's easier done than said, experiment with the variable that you see down
arrows for...

When modifying the view (as described below), you can add the "Resource
Status" field to the filter fields on top. You can then deselect "Enterprise
Inactive" and all inactive resources will be removed from your report.

In the field list the "Resource Status" field is not available. How to add
this field on the list?

David.

You need to use the Field List. This control displays when you press the
Field List icon on the pivot table toolbar. It is the icon just to the left
of the help (question mark) icon. The toolbar always shows if you're editing
the view using Modify Views in the Admin tab. It shows up in Portfolio
Analyzer only if the person who created the view checked "show toolbar".

Once the Field List is displayed, scroll to the bottom and you should see
"Resource Status".
