Deafult font being changed by Word XP

Ed Still

Whenever I have to change some font attribute using
Format | Font, the current font is listed as
NewCenturySchlbk rather than Century Schoolbook (my
default font). This seems to be the only font on which
this happens. (This behavior started a couple of weeks
ago.)

I have used the Microsoft Office Tools Word 2002 Support
Template and run all of the Troubleshoot macros. The
problem still occurs. I am up to date on both Windows XP
and Office XP updates.

NewCenturySchlbk is a PostScript version of the TrueType Century Schoolbook.
Have you recently changed to a PostScript printer driver? It seems that
PostScript font substitution is in action. Check the printer driver settings
dialog.
