DECISION TREE for WORD/POWERPOINT?

G

GW

Is there a left to right decision tree template (like the
organisation structure, but left to right) which can be
used within Word or Powerpoint to avoid having to create
such a structure from scratch?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hi Georgia,

If you're just manually diagramming a decision tree then
there is a Decision Tree for Excel template on
http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/templategallery
(search on decision tree)
but you may also want to take a look at MS Office Visio
http://microsoft.com/office/visio which is the Office family
member that supports that type of capability or you can
download the trial of SmartDraw to try. Probably a shorter
learning curve than Visio.

For more sophisticated features there are a number of
software packages that can process the algorithms to
produce the charts. One is an Excel add-in
http://www.palisade.com/html/ptree.html
but there are more sophisticated analysis packages that
can produce charts to be used in Word or Powerpoint.
