is there a template is PP or word to make a decision tree or do I just try to
use an org chart? thanks!

Visio can do it. Excel can do it. I'm sure that other programs can as well.

PPT doesn't have a decision tree template or diagram. Nor does Word, as far
as I'm aware. There are flowchart shapes on the AutoShapes menu on the
Drawing toolbar, though.

If you have it, Visio is good for decision trees.
