Decreasing space between text and table border

L

Leo Bueno

I am using Word 2003.

There seems to be a default space (roughly about one character in
wide) between text in table cells and the cells' borders.

I would like to decrease and control the size of that space, so that I
get to decide how close the text will be to the borders.

Advise please. Thanks.

Go for ...

Table Properties Table Options Margins (or something like that since I'm
translating from a Dutch version of Word). There you can change the margins
within the cells. It's best to select the whole table first.

Success!!!
