Default currency

Hi, the default curreny on my MS Office XP is always set to Pounds. I need this to be $AUD. I have tried cahanging the language settings to no avail. pls help.

Likely to be the wrong settings in Regional & Language Options in the
Control Panel of your OS. Check the settings in these options.

Go to the Windows Control Panel, Regional Settings, and change your settings
there. New databases and currency fields will then inherit that value.

However, this does not work for your existing fields. You will need to open
each table in design view, select each currency field in turn, and set the
Format property (lower pane) for each one. You may also need to open each
form and each report in design view and set the Format property of each
affected text box there also!
