Default Enterprise Calendar

Using Project Server 2003....have created a custom Enterprise Calendar and
would like that to be the 'default'. However, we do not see an option to
make it the default. So it appears that the only way to have a custom
default enterprise calendar is to actually modify the default standard
enterprise calendar and not have one that you've named something different.
We'd like to confirm that that is correct if anyone can do that for us.

Thanks,
Tammy

If you are talking about making your custom enterprise calendar the default
when opening a new blank project, then no, there is no way to do this. The
software always sets the Standard calendar as the default for new blank
projects.

If you have created enterprise project templates within your organization,
you can specify your custom calendar as both the Project Calendar and the
Nonworking Time Calendar in each template. That way, when anyone creates a
new project using one of your enterprise project templates, the calendars
will be set correctly. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much, Dale! Yes, I knew we could do it via the template route but
had originally thought that there must be a way to do it via the program
itself.

I appreciate your help!
