Default Font, etc. setting

I have Windows XP and my kids use MS Word, but are constantly changing my
default font setitngs and other default settings. Is there anyway I can
flag something somewhere so nobody can change default settings on Word, or IE
Explorer but me?

AFAIK there is nothing within the applications that will lock certain users
out of changing settings, but I believe it can be done through Windows. You
may want to check the Win XP newsgroup for suggestions.
