Default Mail Client for Send-To

Will Mullaney

We're using Office XP for our productivity suite at work. One user cannot
perform Send-To from Word, Excel, etc, because of an SMTP error. It seems
that these programs are trying to launch Outlook Express instead of Outlook
(which is configured correctly to work with Exchange). Any thoughts to how
to fix this for this user? The, "Make Outlook the Default Program...."
under Outlook's options page is already checked.

Control Panel->Internet Options->Programs tab. Ensure Outlook, not Express,
is the default mail handler. If it already is, then try changing to Outlook
Express and then change back.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Will Mullaney asked:
