default paragraph setting

J

Jeff Malka

At present the paragraph default on my Word 97 is left justified. How do I
set the default to be fully justified (Ctrl-J) so I do not have to set it to
this everytime I start a new document?

Thanks.

You really don't want to do this. If you make the Normal style justified,
then all the styles based on Normal (which is essentially all styles) will
also be justified, creating some very strange effects. Instead, select
another style that you want to be justified (Body Text, say), and apply it
to the default empty paragraph in Normal.dot. See

Thank you.

I feel stupid wasting bandwith simply saying "Thank you", but I'd feel even
more ungrateful not to :)
